      We used these on our deck during the 4th of July, they charged rapidly, kept a charge for >8 hours and added so much to our decor. Good length between solar pad and 1st light on string.

        I was surprised at how bright the lights were. They stay lit most of the night, but start fading after about 4-5 hours of use. I was impressed and would like to see some with Christmas colors.

        The construction is a bit less than hoped for, considering the price. And doesn't seem to hold a charge for very long even after a full day's sun. They actually throw out a good bit of light. I don't regret buying them, but I wouldn't recommend them.
