After charging throughout the day, the two bright white LED lights illuminate the numbers automatically at night. The numbers are visible over 100 feet away during the day or night. Illumination lasts between 60 and 70 percent of the total charging time. The light fixture is made of durable black ABS plastic with a frosted plastic lens on the front. The light comes with three sets of numbers. You'll have no trouble setting up this light in your yard. It assembles and installs in seconds and requires no wiring.
Please note: The Solar Address Light is powered by direct sunlight. If placed in shade or partial shade, it will not function properly. To add to its solar capabilities, the light also requires two AA NiCad (nickel-cadmium) batteries, which are included.
